Weekend Project

I cut out the parts to this the other day and ended up getting it finished today. It turned out pretty cute although I had to change some stuff around. It's from Simplicity's pattern 3516. It ended up going just where I knew it would! (He is currently taking a nap with it too.)

Quilt Top #3

I just finished my disappearing nine patch quilt top and I love it! It measures 39" x 63" so far. I like it a lot! The binding is going to be the little yellow squares and the backing is going to be the solid dark purple. This was a pretty easy top to do...it has only taken me so long because my son is now requiring more attention since he's 6 months old! Hey, I don't mind though! His other quilt is still in sandwich form because I'm nervous about actually quilting it! Ideas for a name??

I also finally finished a project I've been working on that I can't display on here just yet... Man, I'm being all secretive today, aren't I? I have also been working on my Disappearing 9 Patch and have a few more squares made. Hopefully I'll get some time to work on that and quilt my sandwiched quilt soon. I'm just trying to figure out how I want to do it. I'm not good at free motion yet--I thought about stitch in the ditch, but I'm not sure. Any suggestions??
