Family Quiz
Another way to practice with your little one is to go through pictures of your family. Point to each member and say the Spanish word. For example, show a picture of their grandmother and say "abuela." Remember that your pronunciation doesn't have to be perfect, as long as they are hearing Spanish spoken and getting those connectors in their brain. This will make learning the language easier when they take it in school! I hope your lessons are going well.

Thanks for all these links! We are working on family names so when we go to NC next month he will be able to identify everyone in Eng. and Spanish. Do you know of any easy Spanish books that teach numbers and colors and stuff?
First 100 Words in Spanish is a pretty good book. The best idea is to go to a the library and find something that looks good--then you can just borrow it if it ends up being too much or you can buy it from amazon, etc. if it rocks!! :) I'm no help...
